The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has raised an alarm over fraudulent emails and messages being sent to unsuspecting applicants of its ongoing recruitment process.
In a statement, the NCS urged the general public to exercise caution and avoid responding to such fraudulent communications, which are aimed at exploiting applicants.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the NCS does not request payment, personal banking details, or confidential information from applicants,” the statement read. “Nor does it engage with candidates through unofficial channels.”
The Service emphasized that all official communications regarding the recruitment process are conducted solely through its authorized platforms.

Applicants are strongly advised to disregard suspicious messages and report any fraudulent activities to the appropriate authorities for prompt action.
The NCS reiterated its commitment to ensuring a transparent and credible recruitment process while urging the public to remain vigilant against scams.
