Customers of two popular banks have raised alarm over an anomaly.

The sudden appearances and disappearances of sudden payments in their bank accounts.

”These are big sums we are talking about” a source stated to societynowng.com.

Information available to societynowng.com have it that customers of the two popular banks with ”a” ”e” ”c” and ”I” in their names usually witness sudden credit in their accounts.

According to a source ”my friend got N500.000, she is in Lagos and the alert said the money came from Sapele.

”She received the alert on a Thursday and by Friday the money was gone..but not before her husband who claimed he was expecting some money withdrew about N200.000 via atm card”

According to another source ”my friend’s accountant just got N3m credit in his account and he wasn’t expecting money from anybody.

”He notified the bank and they claimed to be in the known but the funny thing is that they didn’t reverse it but he started noticing withdrawals in bits

”The last I heard the money was reduced to N300.000 and he called and they told him no problem..he resisted temptation to tamper with the mysterious fund”

Added disclosures made available to societynowng.com have it that tales of such mysterious appearances and disappearances of funds in customers accounts is on the rise.

Insiders within one or two of such financial institutions spoken to by societynowng.com place the blame of fraudlent antics by those with IT knowlegde within the financial institutions concerned.

”The surreptiously skimming from customers accounts and lodging it via a selected depositor from where the stolen funds disppear” an insider analysed.

Societynowng.com learnt the antic is not new but it’s increase gives room for grave concern.

Authorities within the banks concern are said to be pondering on how to effectively contain the menace before it spirals out of control.
