Custodian Of Culture, Araba Elebuibon Gets Another Honor

One of the chief promoters of the culture and tradition of the Yoruba race, Araba Ifayemi Elebuibon has received another honor.

The Vice Chairman of the Board of Traditional Medicine, Osun State was decorated with the honor of the Custodian of Yoruba Cultural Values on Saturday, December 10, 2022, SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

A writer, Poet, and Author, Araba Elebuibon received the honor at the maiden edition of ASA Theatre DAY celebration which was held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The President of the Nigerian chapter of the International Congress of Orisa Tradition and culture was among other things recognized for ” being a great Yorùbá Cultural & Traditional Icon with priceless feathers on his cap” SocietyNow.Ng learned.

The chief promoter of making Osun-Osogbo Grove named a UNESCO World Heritage site urged that “we must uphold our cultural heritage because that’s the only unique identity we have as Yorùbá.”.

The traveling lecturer in several institutions including the department of African language and literature at the Obafemi Awolowo University advocated the use of Yorùbá language and idioms in daily conversation and emphasized that being culturally or traditionally enlightened does not mean illiteracy.
