Court Flings Aviation Boss Kayode Odukoya Into Jail

Aviation boss, Kayode Odukoya has been flung into jail.

He was ordered remanded in detention pending when the court rules on his bail application.

The court sitting in Lagos ordered that Odukoya is remanded in the detention facility of anti-corruption agency Economic and Financial Crimes Commission until Monday, March 26.

He is ordered detailed along with the Managing Director of First Nation Airline.

Odukoya is standing trial in an N1.7billion fraud case.

He had dodged court appearances – despite assurances – thrice forcing prosecution agency EFCC to state on record it would do all in its power to produce Odukoya in court today.

The Bellview Airline boss reportedly reported self at the Lagos office of EFCC on Wednesday, March 14.

The trial judge remanded him and his co-accused in EFCC custody based lack of conviction they are not flight risk at this stage.
