Convicted Ex Governor, James Ibori’s Daughter, Atake Moves Closer To Achieving House Of Assembly Ambition, As Out Of Jail Mistress Udoamaka Becomes More Visible

Erhiatake, the daughter of convicted former governor James Ibori has moved to achieving her political ambition.

The budding politician friends call Atake – shortened form of her name – is seeking to represent the people of Ethiope West Constituency at the State House of Assembly.

And she has emerged winner amongst all aspirants that sought to become her political party’s flag bearer for the post in the upcoming general election.

She is contesting for the Delta state House of Assembly seat on the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Her father currently serving a 13yr jail term in a London prison for charges bordering corrupt enrichment and abuse of office wields great power with the party – even while in incarceration.

Meanwhile the lady whose plea bargaining provided legal ammunition for his imprisonment – the ex governor’s most favoured mistress Udoamaka Okoronkwo – Onuigbo is steadily becoming more visible on the social scene.

She is labelled making a good work of picking up the pieces of her broken life.

Onuigbo spent just 2yrs of a 5years sentence before she walked free in May 2012.

On arrival she had initially holed up in Abuja, but according to a source she appears to have picked up confidence over time and started making social appearances – while Ibori serves out his prison term.

The former governor had made worldwide headlines when his wife, sister and mistress all bagged different jail term as prosecutors make enough case to earn him prison sentence.
