Controversial King Of Iwo Oba Akanbi Denied Entry Into VIP Area At Eagle Square

Emerging details have it that the controvesial King of Iwo Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi was denied entry into the VIP area of the Eagle Square, the venue of Democracy Day celebration.

The incident transpired earlier today in Abuja.

Oluwo as the king is traditionally known was reportedly relegated to the sidelines for about 20 minutes over claims by secuity men incharge that he was in possession of the invitation card of another person.

The Oluwo passionately denied the claim according to information monitored on the Punch.

The added revelation available revealed that the traditional ruler eventually secured entrance into the VIP area after about 20 minutes on the Red Carpet.

The Oluwo’s dignity was restored by seating him on the same line with the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and other first class monarchs and Emirs.
