Competitors, Diran & Sobowale Disrupt Activities At Basket Mouth’s Embassy, Other Hangouts With Police Harassment Over Relaunch Of Fun Spot, ‘Road Runners’

On Friday November 23 2012, operations at Embrassy, the fun spot partly owned by comedian Bright Okpoucha ( Basket mouth) and selected hangouts in it’s environs were disrupted.

Embrassy is situated on Unilag Road Akoka – Lagos.

Sources confirmed police men, allegedly from the Sabo Police station, stormed the targeted home of leisures and harassed and arrested clients at will.

According to a source ‘ the Policemen roved all around the clubs and Lounge in three Black-Maria and 2Hilux vehicle harassing and BasketMouth arresting people’.

The development reportedly scared away patrons in drove and led to the loss of millions of naira in revenue.

Findings accusations made to societynowng.com revealed the action a premeditated move.

It is alleged it was made at the instance of competitors and owners of rival business, Road Runners- Diran and Sobowale.

The reason behind the ‘harassment’ tagged ‘to divert customers’ to their business.

The Friday night is revealed as the ‘relaunched day’ of Road Runners.

According to sources Road Runners had experienced great lull in business since the advent of Embrassy and others.

The new businesses reportedly parade better appeal.

The relaunch was meant to revamp it’s operation- with the operators going an extra step with the dramatic involvement of the police.

Sources claim since the development came to be Basket Mouth and his co victim of the deed have petitioned the Lagos state commissioner of Police over the matter.

The aim is to bring the culprits to book and forestall in ‘un becoming usage’ of men of the Nigeria Police in such a manner in future.

Sources confirm investigation into the matter is on.
