three months after getting an N80billion road construction contract
Barely three months after getting an N80billion road construction contract from the Rivers State Government, Craneburg the company owned by Chizoba, the wife of Herbert Wigwe has secured another multi-billion naira contract.
Chizoba and her husband Herbert Wigwe – one of the owners of Access Bank and Access Holdings -, her son Chizzy, and a family friend – Abimbola Ogunbanjo, a former Chairman of the NGX were victims of a Friday, February 9, 2024, helicopter crash in the United States of America.
In what appears a continuation of the legacy of excellence she entrenched in her construction, the Kwara State Government has awarded the company a N12.4billion contract to build a multi-storey hospital complex.
According to the revelations made last week in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information Bola Olukoju “the contract is awarded to Craneburg Construction Ltd at N12.4bn for a duration of 18 months”.
The multi-storey complex will be constructed at “the popular Civil Service Clinic” the statement added.
The development comes three months after the Rivers State Government awarded Craneburg an N80.8billion for the construction 33.5-kilometer Elele-Umudioga-Egbeda-Ikiri-Omoku road to be completed in 24 months.
