Company Gives N3m Compensation To Push Off Govt Interest In Case Of Worker Crippled With Kung Fu By Chinese Boss

Details coming in have it, Williams Elkanem the worker crippled with Kung Fu kicks from his chinese Boss, Wan has secured compensation.

His former employer, Bedmate Furniture has issued him a N3million cheque to care for self and stave off Government’s interest in the case.

Elkanem’s allegations of abandonment by Bedmate Furniture and tales of woes had attracted public interests and pique the interest of Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment and human rights groups.

The Labour ministry shown seriousness of purpose by inviting the aggrieved worker, the assailant Wan and administrators of Bedmate to a meeting for the matter to be looked at holistically.

But Bedmate who had earlier denied all allegations by Elkanem moved quickly and issued a N3million compensation which the victim collected – ending government’s interest in the matter.
