Coker-Odusote Takes Over NIMC As Buba Yakub Is Named CEO Technical Aid Corps

Bisoye Coker-Odusote has been appointed as the Director General and Chief Executive Officer at the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
Coker-Odusote will first serve in an acting capacity for a 90-day period from August 24, 2023, before a full term of four years will begin as the substantive NIMC Director-General/CEO, beginning on November 24, 2023, according to the terms of appointment by President Bola Tinubu.
This development is based on the Presidential directive for the outgoing Director-General of the NIMC to proceed on a 90-day pre-retirement leave that leads to his eventual retirement from service on November 24, 2023.
Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity made the revelations in a statement released on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
Added information in the statement revealed that following the recent expiration of the tenure of Pius Osunyikanm as the Director/CEO of the Directorate of Technical Aid Corps (DTAC), Yusuf Buba Yakub has been appointed as the new headman by President Tinubu.
Buba Yakub appointment as the new DTAC Director/CEO takes immediate effect according to the statement signed by Ngelale.
