Coast Clear For Daily Flight Operations In And Out Of Bayelsa

Operator of the Bayelsa State-owned airline, PIONEER AIRLINE, has presented its new Air Operator Certificate (AOC) to Governor Douye Diri.

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), recently approved the commercial flights operating licence of Pioneer Airline and the certificate handed to its MD, Capt. Henry Ungbuku.

Ungbuku, who expressed appreciation to the Governor for fast-tracking the approval of the licence, said the coast was clear for daily flight operations in and out of the Bayelsa International Airport, Yenagoa.

Capt. Ungbuku, was accompanied to the Governor’s office by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Bayelsa State International Airport, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Nelson Ebieteli Calmday (rtd.).

The Acting Chief of Staff, Government House, Mr. Irorodamie Komonibo, was on hand for the brief ceremony.
