Chika Mbonu Abandons Family, Pastoral Duties Over Adultery Mess…

Four months after the news of alleged infidelities hit the public domain, Adulterous Pastor, Chika Mbonu has stayed put abroad.

This is said to be despite the fact that his wife Amaka and two children are still very much in the country.

Mr Mbonu, the ex banker turned Redeemed Christian church of God pastor was in vacation in the United states of America when news hit town that he is the biological father of the two children of his protégé and church member Henry Bassey.

And to compound the Pastor’s credibility woes Henry confirmed the story to be true.

Henry based his confirmation on a medical test carried out on the eldest of the children, 8 year old Emmanuel. And another later carried out on the younger 6 year old Tahilla.

Henry had grown suspicious of the paternity of his children when routine blood test carried out on Emmanuel when he fell sick varied from that of his own and his wife.

Both Henry and his wife are said to be A A.

Emmanuel yielded A.S.

Moves to reconcile the diverse factors at play had yielded the name of Chika Mbonu as the unknown equation in the birth of the child.

Investigations later revealed that Mr Mbonu had played on the closeness of his family and the Basseys to illegal conjugal rights to Doreen.

The former Bank top shot was described as a father figure to the Basseys both in and outside of religion.

He is tagged a pivotal force in the growth of the business of Bassey’s.

However since the news broke Pastor Mbonu had stayed put in America.

It is believed that he took this path to avoid the disgrace associated with his conduct.

However in towing this path he has done away with his pastoral duties and comfort of his family.

All through the yuletide services church members that witnessed his conspicuous absence wondered when he would return back home.

Before the development that ran him out of church and home, church members describe Mbonu as always at the forefront of church activities.

He is tagged a good counsellor that was always eager to help out flocks and always expending personal money and resources to host church meetings and move the ministry forward at the Redeemed Church of God, City of David Chapter, Victoria Island Lagos that he attended.

Some now interpret his zeal as a ploy to cloak his immoral tendencies.
Though unconfirmed sources maintained that he has been suspended as a pastor and church member after the news broke out- one thing remains clear, Mbonu is certainly not in a hurry to return to his religious fold, family and shame of his conducts from his travel.
