Chief Kola Daisi Kicks Out Son, Odunlami, Lotto Nigeria Biz From Property Over 6 Years Rent Debt!
Respected Nigerian, Chief Kola Daisi just took a very sentimentally harsh- but hugely smart business decision.
He has ordered his son Dr Odunlami Kola Daisi and his Lottery company, National Sports Lottery (operators of Lotto Nigeria) out of his property.
The massive structure that houses Odunlami’s office as Managing Director and the corporate headquarter of the NSL on Anifowoshe street Victoria Island Lagos is owned by Chief Kola Daisi.
Informants claimed that the elder Kola Daisi issued a deadline of May 2011 for his son and the lottery company to move out.
He is said to have taken the decision based on alleged six years rent debt the company owes him.
According to sources close to him’ the place is choice area and the man is just losing money with his inability to give it out all these years – and NSL incurring more debts by the day too. He just felt it is in the best interest of all concerned for them to move out and others with the means to pay take over’.
The notable Nigerian reportedly took the decision a couple of weeks back.
Strangely Chief Kola Daisi is the chairman of National Sports Lottery.
Observers maintained that the move by Chief Daisi portends very grave implication for NSL and it publics. This is despite rumour of intent to plough back part of the funds that will be realised from the move into NSL’s operation.
‘I mean for a stakeholder to do such says a lot about the future of the company as regards projection for survival’ noted a source.
Prior to this latest development reports of money problems bedevilling the company were abound.
Investigations are on to determine where Dr Odunlami intends to move the Head Office of his company to at press time.
Dr Odunlami Kola Daisi did not respond to attempts by www.societynowng.com to get his reaction to the story.
