The business relationship between popular businessman Otunba Lekan Osifeso and his godfather, Mr Fasal Harb is no more- at least for now.

Sources attribute this development to conducts on the part of the chieftaincy title holder.

The business arrangement between Otunba Osifeso and Harb was said to be such that it permitted the former to secure multi million naira construction contracts in the name of Bulletin.

The idea was for Osifeso, a former employee of the company to leverage on the reputation and wherewithal of Bulletin source for and execute such projects. He remits certain percentage of his profit to his benefactor in return for the understanding.

Sources however claim he wasn’t able to fulfil the condition for the major part of year 2010- and to compound the development he got stump with most of the capital intensive undertakings he got Bulletin involved.

The situation, at a point, degenerated to a state that some of the contracts were revoked (i.e. the infamous Egbeda\Idimu road construction exercise) and in other cases public criticism and bad press trailed the jobs.

Alarmed by the growing trend Mr Fasal had ordered Otunba Osifeso to desist from using his company name to secure contracts- and also ensure he found means to clear all outstanding project he got the company involved in as soon as possible.

The directive was issued in November 2010 and Mr Harb is yet to back down on it in the face of multiple entreaties from the popular businessman that rose to wealth and relevance on the back bone of the notable company.
