BUA Gets F.G’s Approval To Construct 4 Major Roads With N330B In Kwara

The Federal Government has given BUA Group the go-ahead to construct four major roads in Kwara state.

The move is part of efforts to open up the state for socio-economic growth according to a statement by the state government.

The roads to be constructed are Kosubosu-Kaiama-Bode Saadu (130km); Bacita-Shonga-Lafiagi (83km); Eiyenkorin-Afon-Offa-Odo Ottin (49km); and Okuta-Bukuro Road, which connects to the Benin Republic (32km), they are 294km in all SocietyNow.Ng gathered

The about-to-begin-road construction would cost an estimated N330billion.

“Upon completion, these projects will revolutionise road travels within Kwara and neighbouring states, with huge potentials for development and food security” the statement by the Kwaras state government further explains.

The roads will be constructed by BUA group with philanthropists Abdul Samad Rabiu as Chairman under the Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme (Executive Order 7) SocietyNow.Ng learned.

The Kwara state Government thanks “President Muhammadu Buhari for this landmark development” and commends BUA group “for keying into the laudable initiative” while assurings that “our administration will offer all the support to make these projects come through for the benefit of our people.” in the statement released today, Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
