Bayelsa To Build 9-Storey State Secretariat
handed over the project site
The Bayelsa State Government has commenced the process of constructing a modern nine-storey State Secretariat Complex in Yenagoa.
The Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, ESV Moses Teibowei, officially handed over the project site to Megastar Technical and Construction Company, an indigenous firm renowned for its expertise in infrastructure development.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, the Commissioner noted that the new Secretariat Complex would enhance administrative efficiency and provide a centralized workspace for government operations.

Representing Megastar Technical and Construction Company at the event was its Operational Manager, Mr. Carlo Zanone, who expressed the company’s commitment to delivering the project within the stipulated 24 months.
Megastar is no stranger to monumental projects in Bayelsa, having previously constructed the iconic 17-storey Local Content Tower in Yenagoa, a structure that has become a landmark in the state.
The proposed Secretariat Complex is expected to bolster the state’s infrastructure profile, further positioning Yenagoa as a hub of modern development.
