Bawa Charges Students to Join EFCC Integrity Club

The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa today, April 4, 2023 urged students to take advantage of the Commission’s preventative mandate by joining the EFCC Integrity Club in order to contribute in fighting corruption, which has eaten deep into the fabric of our dear nation.

He gave the charge through CSE Nana Fatima Abubakar of the Public Affairs Department, Kaduna Zonal Command, at a sensitisation lecture organised for students of KADWELL international Schools, Barnawa,Kaduna

He urged the students not to take for granted little acts that may seem unrelated to corruption like exam malpractices, stealing etc, adding that integrity matters in the journey of life.

The EFCC boss further said that it was important to be conscious of certain acts frequently overlooked but were in reality corruption enablers in children, such as lateness, absenteeism , indiscipline, laziness, lying, exam malpractices and others.

The students, who were sensitized in two sessions, were eager to join the EFCC integrity Club in order to contribute their own quota in the fight against corruption
