Bago Mourns Prof Olaitan Ex-VC Of Olabisi Onabanjo University
describes Prof. Olaitan as an erudite scholar known globally
Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago mourns the passing of Prof. Wale Are Olaitan, former Vice Chancellor of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye.
In a condolence message through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the farmer Governor describes Prof. Olaitan as an erudite scholar known globally.
He notes how greatly the deceased had inspired many people around him and also made invaluable contributions in the academia.
The farmer Governor says the demise of Prof. Olaitan has created a vacuum in the academic community that would be difficult to fill.
He prays that God will repose the soul of the deceased and grant his family, and the academia, the fortitude to bear the loss.
