Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Insists On Dele Alake Ahead Ex Gov Kayode Fayemi For Ministerial Appointment!

After his master stroke loss in attempt to install a candidate of his choice as Senate President, political leader – Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is engulfed in move to execute another political wish.

Information filtering in has it that, the All Progressives Congress chieftain is pushing for the candidature of hardcore loyalist Dele Alake ahead former governor, Kayode Fayemi for ministerial position.

The slot at stake is that of a nominee from Ekiti state.

Interestingly both Alake and Fayemi though in the same political are said to thread different paths – and Asiwaju Tinubu
consistently assumed the public facade of non partisan in their quarrel until now.

An informed party source however provided information on what made Asiwaju prefer one ahead the others in the appointment of minister.

Alake, who served as a two term commissioner for information on the cabinet of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu when he was governor of Lagos state has retained the trust and goodwill of the political factor by protecting his business interest here and there.

And ultimately, living his life as scripted by the business and political wishes of Asiwaju Tinubu since he left office.

Kayode Fayemi is said to formerly enjoy the same close rapport until he became governor of Ekiti state with the extreme backing of the APC leader.

Added information revealed the need to stop Fayemi became more expedient when ex governor Babtunde Fashola, another major product of the Tinubu in great conflicts with him appeared to have defied all odds to become extremely close to the new President to be touted as Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

A post rivers state governor Rotimi Amaechi, a major financier and influential member of the APC is said to be interested in.

It is believed that though the plan to make Alake a minister instead of the more popular Fayemi does not appear to sit well with majority of the APC decision makers at the national level, the Jargan borgu as fondly called is said to be leveraging on slight he experienced with the Senate President loss to make it happen- especially since he appears powerless to stop Fashola from becoming one.

Keen watchers are of the opinion should Fayemi sail through instead of Alake, it would say a lot about the clout of Asiwaju in the new government.
