Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Forges Ahead With Chieftancy Ceremony As Grieving Friends, Jide Idris, Mutiu Aare, Lola Adefowope, Femi Amzat, Bk Ogala, Tunde Oke, Pick Toyin Amzat’s Body At OSUTH For Burial At Aiyepe

From all indications- political leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will forge ahead with his chieftancy tittle ceremony today.

This is against the backdrop of the murder of one of his lieutenants- Toyin Amzat yesterday.

The former local government chairman and ex special adviser to Lagos state government on health was shot dead yesterday night.

He will be buried today according to islamic rites.

His burial coincides with the ceremony installing his political leader as the Aare Ago of Egba land. And his wife, Remi as the Yeye Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Aare Ago.

But contrary to expectations in some quarters- the Action Congress of Nigeria political leader has no intention of cancelling the ceremony- or shifting it, in honour of his shot aide.

Findings by societynowng.com revealed that as at 12.45 p.m- the former governor was yet to make any formal or informal input towards the burial arrangement of the late Amzat.

He only issued a press statement expressing his sadness over the development.

Sources further confirmed as a show of loyalty of sort- acolytes and supporters of the powerful politician have opted to be by his side, at his chieftancy ceremony in Abeokuta Ogun state.

Findings by societynowng.com revealed very close friends of the late council boss departed from approach.

A early as 8.00a.m, the likes of Mutiu Aare, Dr Femi Amzat, Babatunde Oke, Lola Adefowope and BK Ogala were at the Police station in Ishagamu to officially report the death.

They secured the police report and headed for OSUTH ( Ogun State University Teaching Hospital) to get the remains for burial.

The group was later joined by Jide Idris.

Sources confirmed ‘they all look grief stricken and devastated’

Informants confirmed all members of the entourage were there in private capacity- fulfilling bond to the deceased.

As at press time- they were perfecting arrangement to ensure the body get to the deceased’s home in Aiyepe, Ogun state for burial for 2.00p.m.

It is not sure whether the A.C.N party leader will have any representation at the ceremony or not.

Asiwaju’s cheiftancy ceremony kicks of at 1.30p.m.

Sources further revealed the police have started work to unravel what could have led to the manner of death the late Amzat suffered.

He was reportedly shot dead in his car at Ishagamu ‘and nothing taken’.
