Army Begins Community Engagements In Kwara
o ensure security of lives and property
As part of efforts by the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led administration to strengthen security in Kwara State, the government has continued to support and cooperate with the Nigerian military in their activities and operations.
Army officers on Thursday commenced community engagement in the southern part of the state to ensure security of lives and property.
The officers visited Owu-Isin and Isanlu Isin communities, engaging traditional leaders and community leaders including political stakeholder Barr. Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo.
The military had over the years deployed officers to various local governments of the state to prevent criminals from gaining foothold.
The Kwara State Government has also been providing maximum support to the military and other security establishments to maintain the peace and harmony for which the state is known.
