Anti Graft Agency Quizzes Oyo Gov, Abiola Ajimobi’s Associate Peter Odefemi, L.G Director Olawumi Ogunesan Over N1.3B Contract Inflation!

The Special Fraud Unit of the Nigeria Police is presently investigating political associates of Governor of Oyo state, Mr Abiola Ajimobi.

They are Mr Peter Odetomi and Hanna Olawunmi Ogunesan.

Mr Odetomi was Governor Ajimobi’s running mate at his former Political party, All Nigeria’s People Party in the 2007 Guber election in Oyo state. He is currently a big wheeler in the Ministry of Agriculture.

Ogunesan is presently director of Local Government in the state. She was a fellow contestant with Ajimobi in ANPP, in the 2007 general elections- she vied for the post of Federal House of Representative. Since then till now, informants claim she enjoys ‘great rapport’ with Governor Ajimobi.

The focus of the probe against them is alleged to be involvement in an alleged N1.3b contract inflation scam.

Maintained an insider ‘ the investigation centres around acquisition of N1.3b refuse Disposal Trucks’

Information revealed there are allegations of ‘refurbishing old trucks as new’…’Paying far above original cost’ and others surrounding the N1.3b purchase.

Information made available to societynowng.com revealed that the duo-tagged major player in the contract execution, were recently grilled over this allegations by agents at S.F.U recently.

According to a source ‘they were invited for questioning and made statements before allowed to leave’

Insiders revealed they were given specific dates to report back as part of ongoing investigation.

The unfolding scenerio is tagged ‘as a result of multiple petitions on the case’ by those tagged ‘stake holders’.
