Anti Fuel Subsidy Removal Strike… Singer, Azeezat Apologizes For Spreading Falsehood
The national strike against subsidy removal is on to day two.

One of such ‘gist’ spread on social networking sites and transmitted via phones read ‘ Beware of going to Akoka Bariga, right now at Pako bus stop, very close to University of Lagos, some hausas and yorubas are seriously in battle, 13 killed already! please, re broadcast to save lives’
The popular singer had picked the story and immediately pasted it on her facebook without verification!
Some one of her stature giving credence to such an alarming news had increased the frenzy over it.
Especially coming at a time the furore over police killing of protester (Ademola Aderinola) in another part of Lagos, Ogba was on the up.
The reactions advising the graduate of Mass Communication to be ‘responsible’ in managing information ‘to avoid heating up’ an already tensed situation yielded a twist to the report.
Two hours later the singer that operates with the identity, Azeezat QueenofLove on Facebook pasted this ‘apologies everyone. Pls disregard my earlier post concerning conflict at Yaba/Unilag area. Not true. Pls let’s all be socially responsible and stop pasting untrue stories. My apologies’
