Amosun’s Men Leave APC For ADC

with assertions that the factors at play are more favorable.

Loyalists of the former Governor of Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun are moving out of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that they are taking root in the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The information available revealed that the move is to ferociously push Biyi Otegbeye, the adopted candidate of the Amosun political group to become the next Governor of Ogun State- and contest other elective positions of interest.

Otegbeye a strong member of the Amosun political family left the APC to become the gubernatorial candidate of the ADC.

The move by Amosun’s men is a re-enactment of that of 2019 but with a different political party.

The former Governor’s loyalist took over the Allied People’s Movement (APM) for the 2019 election but the party came second in the gubernatorial contest.

They adopted the same strategy for the 2023 gubernatorial election with assertions that the factors at play are more favorable.

Amosun’s men leave the APC in the face of refusal by Governor Abiodun’s winner takes all stance after taking over the APC structure in Ogun state.
