AMAA Announces Tribute Night Date For Peace Anyiam Osigwe

The Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) has announced a tribute night date for its late founder Peace Anyam Osigwe.

Peace Anyiam Osigwe,53, died on Tuesday, January 9, 2023, battling a health challenge.

This is to announce that we will be hosting a tribute night in honor of the legacy of Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, the founder of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA). The tribute night will be held on February 11th, 2023 at 4 pm.

Join us as we celebrate the achievements of Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, who through the AMAA awards and Africa Film Academy, has helped to shine a spotlight on the talent and creativity of African filmmakers and also train young filmmakers. The tribute night will feature speeches from industry professionals, performances from artists, and a retrospective of some of Peace Anyiam-Osigwe’s most memorable moments.
