All The Details As Tinubu Desperately Puts Loyalists On Red Alert Ahead Of March 9 Election

Societynow.ng gathered that political leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has put all his loyalists, especially vote canvassers on red alert ahead of the Saturday, March 9 gubernatorial and state house of Assembly election.

Informants claim that this development is attributed to ‘’ beyond expectation’’ popularity shown by main opposition party People’s Democratic Party in last Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly election.

The party leader is said to be alarmed about reports that party men – members of the ruling All Progressives Congress – had to resort violence in some areas to contain the protest votes against the APC.

Societynow.ng gathered that the fact that the opposition PDP and its sympathizers are making a huge underground campaign issue out of the loss suffered by the APC star boys, Vice President Yemi Osinbanjo and Gubernatorial candidate Babajide Sanwoolu and others -in their polling units is said to be agitating Tinubu.

And to prevent the development from spiraling into a devastating effect in the March 9 gubernatorial and state house of assembly election, sources claim Tinubu has gone back to the drawing board to restrategize.

‘’but in doing this, he is said to have put his main men on red alert while a quick fix to the lapses the PDP latched on during last Saturday’s election is mapped out’’ societynow.ng gathered.

Added revelation has it that the National leader of the APC is also battling to contain allegations of anti-party rearing its ugly head amongst his supporters.

There are said to be muted accusations of an attempt to undermine the influence of the APC in Lagos state by those aggrieved with Tinubu and his inner caucus within his party for this and that reasons.

Sources claim the development is being ‘’desperately’’ contained to prevent the opposition party from exploiting the situation ahead of the gubernatorial and State House of Assembly election.

There are believes that some of those against Tinubu, even, within his own party are sponsoring candidates in the other political parties for State House of Assembly seats as part of efforts to weaken his hold on Lagos politics societynow.ng learned.

‘’The primary targets of those against Tinubu are the State House of Assembly seats, the governorship position is secondary. And the people hatching the plot include political players within his own party’’ a source stated.

Societynow.ng, however, gathered that the gut shown in voting against the APC in last Saturday’s election has alerted Tinubu and his men to how deep the conspiracy to take away the reins of power from their hands runs.
