Emerging details have it that all other gubernatorial aspirants viewing for the All Progressives Congress Gubernatorlal ticket on Kogi state have been disqualified but for two people.

Details made available by one of the aspirants Babatunde Irukera reveal that only re-election seeking incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello and a former Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assemy remain in race.

16 out of 18 aspirants we’re disqualified according to Irukera.

He is silent on reasons given by the party for the development.

The shadow election to determine the APC gubernatorial candidate for the November Kogi state election holds on August 29.

Many believe the contest should be a walkover for Bello.
