Ali Modu Sheriff’s 6 Plots Wonder Palace Rots Away In Maiduguri!

A wonder place put up on all of six plots of land and on the verge of completion by former governor of Borno state- Ali Modu Sheriff is rotting away.

The architectural master piece situated in Government Reserved Area, Maiduguri is now abandoned.

Sources claimed that work stopped at the virtually completed mansion last year.

According to a source ‘ the erection was done with and the workmen were putting the finishings in place when all activity was brought to a halt’

Informants claimed that controversies trailing the former governor’s alleged link to militant
Ali Modu Sheriff group widely known as Boko Haram is not unconnected with this development.

Sources claim that since workmen moved out of the site- the project valued in the region of over a billion naira has adopted an air of abandonment.

Weeds and other disfiguring elements are said to be gradually taking over the wonder place.

The place expected to serve as a one stop court and home for issues that matters to the former governor is now a far cry from expectations placed on it.
