Alake Says He Is Not President Tinubu’s Spokesperson

Former Commissioner, Dele Alake has shut down claims that he has been appointed as the spokesperson for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tinubu was inaugurated as the President of Nigeria on May 29, 2023, and within twenty-four hours the claims that Alake has been appointed as his spokesperson emerged.
“It was fake news. I’m always surprised when news people failed to recognize fake unsigned stories,” the former director of strategic communication of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign to Thecable.ng.
Alake, one of the close associates of the President was the commissioner for Information and Strategy when Tinubu was the Governor of Lagos state.
