Akeredolu Wins Ondo Guber Election With 97,039 Votes More Than Jegede

Rotimi Akeredolu has retained his seat as the man the governor of Ondo State.
Akeredolu polled 97,039 votes more than Eyitayo Jegede, the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party who came second according to the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Akeredolu who is the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress amassed 292,830 votes while Jegede got 195,791 votes accrding to information released by INEC monitored by societynow.ng in a live telecast by television station, TVC.
Zenith Labour Party candidate Agboola Ajayi – the Deputy Governor – came third with 60.051 votes.
The keenly contested election held yesterday, Saturday, October 10, 2020.
