Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has won the November 16, 2024, Ondo State gubernatorial election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) the winner with 366,781 votes, while Agboola Ajayi polled 117,845 votes to secure the second position.

Adeyemi Nejo of the African Democratic Party (ADP) created an upset by claiming the third position. He garnered 4,138 votes in the results released by INEC on Sunday, November 17, 2024.

The Returning Officer, Professor Olayemi Akinwunmi, announced the results and declared Aiyedatiwa the winner at the State Collation Centre, INEC Ondo headquarters, Akure.
