After giving up hope, Sir Shina Peters is has every reason to be thankful again.

His wife is back home, and not bedridden but ‘full of wife!

A report available to societynowng.com details how the mega super star’s status changed from hopelessness to thanks giving.

Sammie Peters, wife of Afro Juju creator, Sir Shina Peters, has returned to Nigeria after over two years sojourn in the United States to seek medical attention and treatment for her cancer, E24-7Magazine reports.

SAMMIE who arrived Nigeria on Thursday morning was in the company of her hearthrob, Sir Shina Peters and the only son they had together, Clinton.
They were chauffeured in a waiting brand new 2015 Passat jeep as soon as they stepped out of the Arrival hall of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

In a telephone conversaton with E24-7Magazine on Saturday night, Sammie, full of praises to God said. “My God took control. he reversed my ugly situations and made me beautiful again. To God I give adoration and honour. It is only God that i will serve because He has made me whole again. I thank all well-meaning Nigerians and the ever supportive Nigerian media for their prayers and good wishes via my Facebook wall. It shall be well with you all.”

Earlier, Sir Shina Peters had expressed his joy that he personally returned to Nigeria with Sammie alive. “I’m overwhelmed with joy that I returned to Nigeria with my wife, full of life. It is a great feeling, my brother, Sammie has been a great supporter, an amiable, loving wife and mother of my children. She does not deserve such a dark moment in her life. I must confess to you that since we resigned our faith to God, He took control and the result is a hale and hearty Sammie.”

She has since retired to their Iju, Lagos home receiving a throng of visitors and well – wishers, especially from her church, the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Sammie returned barely four days to her 56th birthday. Her husband would be 58 in May, 2016.
