Loyalists of the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, are not taking it easy on their All Progressives Congress (APC) opponents.

They have hit the streets, taunting APC leaders and supporters with claims that a deal securing Adeleke’s second term in office has already been sealed.

Adeleke is the leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State.

Wike, a chieftain of the PDP, worked for Tinubu’s emergence as President and, in turn, not only secured victory for his preferred candidate to succeed him as Governor of Rivers State, but also became one of the most influential ministers in the APC government led by President Tinubu. Wike, notably, remains a member of the PDP.
