ACAMB To Host “Aerobics & Health Meet With Kemen” In Telling Bonding Among Nigerian Banks

In a move that speaks strongly to team bonding and unity in diversity, the Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB) is set to host the maiden edition of its Aerobics & Health Meet tagged ” Move and Stay Fit with Kemen Fitness”.

Kemen Fitness is owned and run by Ekemini Ekerette, the former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) star known as Kemen.

A certified fitness coach, Kemen is the first certified international master trainer in Nigeria by Technogym, one of the global leaders in design and wellness equipment.

“The communications manager at any level, especially in the financial industry is saddled with so much and it takes its toll on you mentally, emotionally, and psychologically as you carry out your job not because it is designed so, it just what comes with the job. You have so much to process, to do and this takes its toll generally on the well-being of comms (communications) manager and you find out that there is so much to do that sometimes you fail to pay attention to your body, to your state of mind, to your emotional and mental health which is vital to your being able to do your job and do it excellently well. This initiative has come to promote general wellness of your being, from feeding to lifestyle, habits just to teach easy things to do to stretch oneself,

The things that affect one bank can affect others. We want to show that synergy between us as an industry and let the world out there know that this is a partnership. Yes, we are individual Banks with different logos, different names but at the same time we have one purpose and that is our customers and we are here to make sure you (customers) are okay-served, satisfactorily ” Ozena Utulu, ACAMB’s Social Secretary and Chairperson of Maiden Edition of ACAMB’s Aerobics & Health Meet provided deep insight into the event scheduled for Saturday, July 30, 2022.

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that the event will see the coming together of corporate communication professionals from all the Deposit Money Banks ((DMBs) in Nigeria interacting, bonding, and sharing ideas in the move to deepen the growing synergy in the banking industry amid music aerobics, in-door games, and talks on diet, health and keeping healthy.

Confirming that the July 30 event is a stand-alone with subsequent editions in the pipeline, Chairperson Utulu explained to SocietyNow.Ng that it is also the build-up of a sort to other events, including the annual general meeting and the highly anticipated Wednesday, August 3, 2022 “National Stakeholders Conference on Synergy Between the Nigeria Banking Industry and the Organized Private Sector”.

With Godwin Emefiele- the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Ken Opara – President, Charted Institue of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Ide John Chinyelu Udeagbala – President, Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA) and Mansur Ahmed – President, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) named keynote speakers, the national banking industry and organized private sector conference will hold at the conference hall of the Bankers House, Adeola Hopewell Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

“It is always a good place to start to, to get your body fit for the race ahead of you and so literarily we are just getting fit for the things ahead of us” Utulu who also doubles as ACAMB’s Social Secretary puts further context on the “Aerobics & Health Meet” but emphasized “team bonding is the primary thing”
