Almost A year After Adultery Saga That Nearly Claimed His Life, Popular Broadcaster Soji Omotayo Way Laid By Armed Robbers Along With Crew, Manager Shot Dead

Almost a year after he was butchered over allegation of engaging in a beyond the ordinary relationship with wife of friend and business partner, popular broadcaster Soji Omotayo just escaped death by the whiskers again.

But unfortunately same cannot be said for one of his long time crew member and associate Segun Abayomi.

Information available revealed Abyomi was shot dead by armed robbers that waylaid Omotayo and his crew on Sunday August 07 2016.

The incident reportedly transpired along Acme Road, Ogba Lagos while the crew were on their way back from a programme at the Lagos State Television studio.
According to emerging details the Armed Robbers ambushed the two cars the popular presenter and his crew were moving and ordered everybody to move out of the vehicles and lay face down on the road.

They were all reportedly disposed off all valuables on them – the deceased identified as the ‘’production manager’’ was reportedly shot on the head for allegedly defying instruction.

The robbery operation was reportedly carried out in the midst of multiple gunshots by the armed bandits.

According to revelations available the incident earned the popular broadcaster- who incurred injury along with others- a 5day stay in the hospital.
He was reportedly admitted at an unnamed health facility on Sunday and discharged on Thursday August 11 2016.

His broadcaster’s Toyota Camry Car made away with the robbers is said to have been recovered in another part of town – Ilupeju.

According background checks Saturday August 22 2016, Omotayo got a call from his friend and business partner, Kunle Kushimo widely known as Agarawu to come visit.

Both the visit turned out beyond expectation..Agarawu an car dealer operating along the Idiroko Cotonou road ended up dealing Omotayo machete blows over allegations of having a clandestine affair with his wife.

The development turned an open mess after Omotayo escaped and drafted the police into the matter in a threat to life allegation.
