Why Soldiers Are Conducting “Stop & Search Operations” In Kwara
in Kaiama and its environs.
Nigerian soldiers have been deployed to Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State to ramp up security efforts.
Similar deployment has been done in the past at Edu, Baruten and several local governments to provide security in the state.
The Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led administration has always supported these military efforts in the state which have yielded impacts overtime.
The military officers are currently conducting patrols and stop and search operations in Kaiama and its environs.
They are also combing various forests to prevent kidnappers and other criminal gangs from having a foothold in the area.
Kwara is reputed to be one of the most peaceful states in the country.
