Insiders Reveal Why Dapo Abiodun Has Refused To Touch Some Of The Projects Initiated By Amosun

There is growing talk in Ogun state, that Governor Dapo Abiodun has refused to touch some of the projects initiated by his predecessor Ibikunle Amosun.

Particular reference is being made to the large expanse of land that formerly housed the hold secretariat.

The building is said to have been commissioned by Amosun to play host to major structures including an arcade and a bank before he left office.

Some claim the construction of multi-purpose shopping mall Shoprite is part of the plan.

But since Amosun left office, workmen have vacated the place and activities halted at the project site except for a portion.

‘’The only place work is ongoing is at the place is the training school of a bank, the bank is funding the project’’ societynow.ng learned.

The checks made by societynow.ng have revealed why Governor Abiodun has kept away from this particular project and a couple of others.

‘’The governor has said he would complete all the projects initiated by Amosun that directly affects the people, the projects that boost their standard of livings in the face of financial constraints’’ a source pointed out.

The added revelation made to societynow.ng revealed Governor Abiodun is also studying the ‘’ fine prints’’ of the contracts that set up some of the projects as they relate to the gains for the state.
