LAGFERRY Boss Commiserates With Families Of Victims Of Ikorodu Auto-crash; Seeks More Patronage Of Water Transportation
The Managing Director of the Lagos Ferry Service (LAGFERRY), Honourable Abdul Baqi’ Ladi Balogun has commiserated with the family of the victims of the Ikorodu auto crash in which some people lost their lives and many people were injured.
The accident which occurred on Tuesday in Ikorodu involved a Dangote truck and a BRT bus. Three people reportedly lost their lives while many people were injured.
“I commiserate with the families of victims of the accident. For those who lost their lives, I pray that God accepts their souls while giving their families the fortitude to bear the loss.
“For the injured victims, I pray that God gives them full recovery,” he said.
Balogun however urged Lagosians to look at water transportation alternative in their movement round the state.
“The water transportation in the state has improved a lot and I want Lagos residents to look at it as alternative,” he advised.
Balogun stated further that the Lagos Ferry Sevice offers such alternative for Lagosians urging them to patronize its service.
“We will give you the best. We will also not relent in providing security for our passengers.
“I want to reiterate our commitment to improving our standard and I will urge Lagosians to take advantage of this opportunity,” he said.
