The war between Mr Charles Ahize And Ladi Akindele is far from over.

The partners supposed to have settled their discord over the ownership of popular fun place- Chrome, are back in the trench.

Informants divulged that leader of pan Igbo group, Obigbo- Ahize was the first to set aside the terms of compromise.

He rearrested Ladi Akindele last week.

The state of the fresh offensive with the police is still shrouded at press time.

Sources divulged that Ahize made the move as part of calculated efforts to settle the matter once and for all.

Insiders claimed Ahize agreed to earlier terms ‘of peace’ between him and Ladi to afford him bury his mother without any hint of controversy.

The arrangement is generally believed to have favoured Ladi.

The two partners are at war over ownership of the club- inherent gains in it.

Ahize is bolstering his position with claims that Ladi owed him N15m- part of proceeds the latter failed to remit to him.

He had kicked Akindele out of the business based on this- and started a renovation exercise with intent to bring in new partners.

Akindele had greatly resisted the move- an action that necessitated police involvement.

Several visits to Lion Building Police station resulted in Police taking over of the club- and later released and reopened. Based on understanding the partnership continues.

But obviously with the reasons he agreed to a compromise behind him- his mother’s burial- Ahize appears ready to get things done his way once and for all.
