3 Days To Election, House of Assembly Candidate Leaves PDP For APC

An Ogun State House of Assembly candidate on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Solomon Olanrewaju Enilolobo, the PDP candidate for Abeokuta South Constituency 1 has joined the APC.
He was received into the APC by re-election seeking Governor Dapo Abiodun.
SocietyNow.Ng gathered that Enilolobo whose status as PDP candidate for the 2023 election is the subject of litigation is part of the political family of Jimi Lawal, who lost the PDP gubernatorial ticket – and control of the party in Ogun state – to governorship candidate, Ladi Adebutu.
Emmanuel Ojo, one of the aides of Governor Abiodun announced Enilolobo’s defection to the APC.
The move signals swelling ranks of the APC against opposition parties ahead of the March 18 gubernatorial and house of assembly elections.
