24hrs To Official Ratification, Gov Rauf Argebesola’s Candidate Mudashir Hussein Upstaged As Demola Adeleke Returns To Reckoning In Battle To Fill Isiaka Adeleke’s Vacant Senatorial Seat

Mudashir Hussein, the man already positioned by Governor of Osun state Rauf Aregbesola to become the All Progressives Congress flag bearer in upcoming election to fill the vacant seat of late Senator Isiaka Adeleke has been upstaged.

Hussein, a serving commissioner in the cabinet of Governor Aregbesola was favored ahead Demola the younger brother of Adeleke by the state headman.

As at 24hrs ago, Hussein just needed ratification of a “mock” primary election scheduled for Monday July 12 2017 to official become party candidate.

But all that is changed source claimed.

Forces beyond the politics of Osun state through the intervention of the National Secretariat of the APC are said to have scripted Hussein out of the race.

A move which returns Demola, the younger brother of Isiaka Adeleke to reckoning.

Governor Aregbesola’s candidate is said to have been outplayed based on allegations he didn’t resign appointment as state commissioner before aspiring to become Osun West senator.

Sources however claimed the real deal is contray to the governor Aregbesola’s ploy to squash the influnece of the Adeleke’s in state, powers beyond him wants to keep the family and it’s structure within the party.

“They don’t want to make the opposition formidable by gifting them the Adelekes and their structure’’ a source pointed out.

Sources however claim even as it is, it is not yet home run for Demola as claims he is not a bonafide member of APC has surfaced in moves to dump him out of the process again.
