Saturday, October 28, 2017, Senate President Bukola Saraki staged what has been widely labeled, a mother of all weddings for his daughter.

25year old Oluwatosin Saraki “traditionally” wedded her heartthrob, Adeniyi – the son of Omooba Adebola Olukoya at Eko Hotel.

The guest lists – not one, but plenty pages of it, with average celebrities not even making entry into the official one – confirm Senate President Bukola Saraki is the new power in the Nation’s politics.

The personalities, decision makers across different sectors of life, that grace event establish Saraki’s status.

The president was aptly represented by the popular appendage Aba kyari as well as Vice President Yemi Osinbajo , Asiwaju Bola Tinubu didn’t come alone, he was at the now famous event with his wife Senator Oluremi Tinubu. And wife of the vice president Dolapo was also on hand.

A face of ruling party (APC) Bisi Akande was naturally on hand.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo was also there.

The likes of Ken Nnmani the former Senate President and Aremo Segun Osoba and governors Ibikunle Amosun, Abiola Ajimobi and Rotimi Akeredolu also made the cut.

Flamboyant media personality behind Thisday newspaper, Prince Nduka Obaigbena was also on hand.

Emeka Anyaoku, Odigie Oyegun and the Senators lead by the Dino Melaye and Ben Bruce were able represented, as Speaker of Yakubu Dogara led the House of Representatives crew.

And here is the catch. These are just some of the popular names caught by media lenses at the occasion with another part plotted for Abuja.

Checks revealed most of the attendees, even big names and the “usual celebrities” were forced to update pictures of selves taken at the A-lister occasion on personal social media platforms to show they were there.

Many of them escape media attentions and mention as newshounds went in search of bigger reckonings.
