boosting investment opportunities, and building partnerships
The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Nigeria, His Excellency Salem Saeed Al-Shamsi, on Friday paid a courtesy visit to the corporate headquarters of BUA Group in Abuja, where he met with the Founder and Executive Chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu.
Discussions at the meeting centered on strengthening bilateral business relations and exploring new avenues of collaboration between BUA Group and leading enterprises from the UAE.
Both sides exchanged ideas on enhancing trade flows, boosting investment opportunities, and building partnerships across sectors critical to economic growth and diversification.

The visit highlights the growing interest of Middle Eastern enterprises in Nigeria’s private sector, with BUA Group positioned as a strategic partner given its strong presence in cement, infrastructure, foods, and energy.
The engagement is expected to serve as a platform for mutually beneficial projects that will leverage Nigeria’s vast market alongside the UAE’s global business influence.
It also aligns with the broader push to foster closer economic ties between the two nations, positioning BUA Group as a key player in transforming diplomatic goodwill into impactful business ventures that could drive industrial growth, create jobs, and expand cross-border trade.
