Vice President, Namadi Sambo was the butt of an unbecoming treatment over the weekend.

And alarmingly the occurrence transpired at his home town in Zaria.

He was booed and spirited to safety at an event he was earmarked as Special Guest of Honour.

The occasion was the 4oth anniversary of the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris.

The booed Special Guest of Honour was reportedly spirited into the Emir’s palace as the crowd become more agitated over his presence.

He reportedly made his out of the venue from their due to increasingly unfavourable security situation.
