Sikirulai Ogundele Leads Charge For Ogun’s Emerging 3rd Political Force

After attaining the prestigious academic achievement of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Political Science, the next move of popular politician Sikirulai Olawale Ogundele has been unveiled.

Insiders reveal that he is at the forefront of an emerging political group labeled the Third Force in Ogun State.

The Third Force is a coalition of influential politicians drawn from the two main political parties: the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the leading opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Ogundele, whose political roots trace back to the APC, is the immediate past Chairman of the PDP in Ogun State.

The former Chief Whip of the Ogun State House of Assembly and ex-Chairman of Ifo Local Government—one of the state’s largest councils—is said to be leveraging his extensive contacts across party lines to bring the coalition to life.

“They are at an advanced stage. The Third Force, its promoters, and its agenda should be unveiled in a couple of weeks,” insiders disclosed.

Additional information suggests that Ogundele and his collaborators are primarily offering what they believe to be a better alternative to what currently exists across the major political parties, as part of their efforts to improve Ogun State.

“The long and short of it is that a new equation has been added to the process that will determine who takes charge in the next political dispensation,” an observer noted.
