Photos Tell Story Of Popular Reps Aspirant Oladipo’s Outing At Bet9ja CEO Ojuroye’s Mother’s Wake-Keep

The burial ceremony of Mrs. Florence Adewunmi Ojuroye, mother of wealthy Nigerian businessman Ayo Ojuroye, is underway.

Ojuroye, a man of many business parts, is the Chief Executive Officer of Bet9ja—the famous online bookmaker company offering sports betting.

The funeral activities included a two-week football tournament in her honour, which ended on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

The Wake-Keep was held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the NUGA Planet Events Hall, Oba Erinwole Road, Sagamu, Ogun State.

Muyiwa Oladipo, the former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly and Special Guest of Honour at the football tournament, was also a prominent feature at the Wake-Keep.

The leading aspirant for the vacant seat of the Sagamu/Ikenne/Remo North Federal Constituency is described as a friend of the family.

Oladipo—labeled a “fitting candidate” for the agitation by stakeholders for an experienced replacement to take over the Remo Federal House of Representatives seat, with a mandate to sustain and build on the legacy development of the late occupier, Chief Reps Chief Adewunmi Onanuga—is also present at the funeral service currently underway at the Methodist Church, Sagamu.

He shares ties in this regard with Kunle Soname, co-owner of Bet9ja and power behind latest winner of the Nigerian Football League, Remo Stars F.C.
