PDP Will Be Sent Out Of Edo Govt House – APC National Sec Basiru Declares
emphasised that the September 21 Governor election in Edo is going to be PDP’s funeral
The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress Dr Ajibola Basiru has emphasised that the September 21 Governor election in Edo is going to be PDP’s funeral in Dennis Osadebe’s House, Benin.
Speaking at the well-attended inauguration of the National Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress in Benin, Dr. Basiru said his party will restore sanity and probity to Edo State.
APC National Scribe stressed that PDP will not win a local government in the September 21 election in Edo State.
Welcoming the Deputy Governor of Edo State Mr Philip Shuaibu and other chieftains of the Legacy Group of the PDP into APC, Dr Ajibola Basiru described them as men and women of timber and calibre.
“On behalf of the National Chairman of our Party and behalf of the National Leader of our Party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, I welcome you all to the fold of the Progressives.”
“You are not visitors or tenants but landlords and landladies in APC. We are happy to receive you.”
Commenting on the court ruling that reinstated Philip Shuaibu as the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Dr Basiru said the court order is regular, positive, and valid, warning that anybody who acts contrary to the pronouncement risks a jail term.
