Omisore & His Men Move To SDP In Pursuit Of Gubernatorial Ambition!

But for the outcome of a Tuesday April 10 court case, insiders disclosed Otunba Iyiola Omisore is virtually out of the People’s Democratic Party.

His political destination is revealed as the Social Democratic Party.

The move comes on the heels of strong urgings from the gubernatorial aspirant’s key supporters to dump the PDP for the SDP in pursuit of his dream to become the next governor of Osun state.

The recent congress of the Osun state chapter of the PDP has placed the control of the party in the hands of his political opponents – within his party.

Insiders confirmed the development effectively knocked Omisore from becoming party candidate.

The gubernatorial aspirant’s supporters had initiated a string campaign for him to move to the SDP to contest the September 2018 gubernatorial election as the party’s candidate.

Sources disclosed to societynow.ng that Omisore has bowed to the pressure from his men, but with a condition attached.

He wants judgment to be delivered in a case he instituted against those that have outmaneuvered him in the PDP.

He has given his backers the go-ahead to announce defection to the SDP once the ruling goes against him.
