Ogun Community Attacks Teachers, Headmaster With Cutlasses & Charms Over “Deworming Tablets” To Students

The teachers and headmaster of Holy Trinity Primary School in Ibooro, Yewa Ogun state were beaten blue black today.

The community youths reportedly attacked the headmaster and teachers of Holy Trinity Ibooro on false alarm.

Someone reportedly claimed the ongoing exercise of giving deworming tablets to students has resulted in deaths elsewhere.

The youths of Ibooro community mobilised and stormed Holy Trinity where one of such exercises was about to take place to violently resist it – in presumed attempt to protect the students.

Armed with sticks, cutlasses and charms they went after the teachers and the headmaster.

“They were beaten blue black’ a source stated.

The headmaster Mr Orebiyi reportedly got a very rough deal. He was cornered and hugely dealt with.

The action which saw teachers scampering out of “town” reportedly put an immediate end to the deworming exercise.

Some arrests are said to have been made after the matter was reported to the police.
