“No Quarantine On Your Cash!” UBA Tells Customers In Stay-At- Home Zones How To Have Easy Access To Their Funds

In an atmosphere where many financial institutions are shutting down to avoid withdrawal of funds in the bid to protect their “liquidity”, UBA – United Bank for Africa – has written customers in States where the Federal Government ordered sit-at-home in the fight against Covid-19 how to have easy access to their funds.

The letter with the pointed header “No Quarantine On Your Cash” reads

As you know, the Federal Government announced a lockdown in Lagos, Ogun, and FCT to help contain the spread of COVID-19. This lockdown excludes providers of essential services. Which means that you’d probably need cash to buy some more basic home essentials. No worries, we’ve got you covered.
